Birmingham, West Midlands based multidisciplinary engineering consultancy wish to appoint a Senior Civil/ Infrastructure Engineer.

This dynamic consultancy have a track record in planning, designing and delivering some of the UK’s major infrastructure and development schemes. Offering an integrated approach, the Birmingham team have significant expertise within the infrastructure, public, retail, commercial and residential sectors.

Clients include many of the UK’s leading blue chip residential and commercial property developers, listed financial institutions and both local, regional and national government agencies.

Project experience and career prospects are second to none. You’ll be joining an experienced team working on some of the largest and most prestigious developments in the UK.

Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer duties:

• Run concurrent highway, drainage and external work schemes
• Delegate and supervise work of more junior team members and act as their mentor
• Design earthworks, highways, pavements and drainage systems
• Prepare designs, calculations, specifications and reports for each project phase
• Carry out 3D earthworks modelling
• Coordinate designs to ensure full integration with other engineering disciplines
• Liaise with local authorities and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals
• Assist during the implementation stage, including site monitoring

Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer experience:

• Proven experience in the delivery of projects to time and budget
• Highway design (S38 / S278) both preliminary and detailed
• Drainage design (S104 / S98) both strategic and detailed
• Design of foul pumping stations, SUDS, flow control structures and balancing facilities
• Residential and commercial external works design including earthworks assessments
• Extensive experience of AutoCAD, Civils 3D and / or MicroDrainage (WinDes) and PDS
• Ability to communicate at all levels with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders
