Birmingham, West Midlands multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy currently seeks a Structural Engineer/Senior due to a surge in orders.

You’ll be part of an experienced and dedicated residential team working on housing and apartment block schemes. Forming an integral part in developing the team by supporting the Technical Director. This established consultancy actively encourages personal development and support in achieving chartership.

Structural Engineer experience:

• Technically able to deliver projects from inception to completion, with minimal supervision, but within a team environment.
• Undertaking design of projects with minimal supervision, reporting to Management on a regular basis.
• 4+ years design experience of residential sub and super-structures for new build housing and apartments, up to 3 stories.
• You will help manage relationships with the customer and the design team acting as point of contact for several projects.
• Demonstrate technical expertise, providing in depth knowledge and leadership.
• Ensure client satisfaction and pursuing and promoting opportunities with clients.
• Site inspection and surveys of domestic and commercial structures.
• Ideally BEng or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
• Design experience with Tedds and AutoCAD software.
