Senior Structural Engineer – Birmingham

Overview:

Established & successful engineering consultancy working on schemes up to £400m. Part of an experienced project team, you’ll work on new build, refurb and extension schemes within the residential, commercial and industrial construction sectors. Senior Structural Engineer duties:

• Prepare designs, calculations, specifications and reports during design stages
• Liaise with client, architects, design engineers and construction contractor
• Check work produced by Structural CAD Technicians and Revit Modellers
• Assist & undertake technical and feasibility studies, and site investigations
• Supervise construction on site and address main contractor queries
• Provide support to Senior Structural Engineers

Senior Structural Engineer experience:

• Structural design experience using general construction methods and materials
• Awareness of Building Regulations, Codes of Practice, and H&S
• Work with minimum supervision
